The metalcore giants that are August Burns Red unleashed havoc on the listeners of Sirius XM Radio today when they played for the first time a new song by August Burns Red called “Invisible Enemy”. Old school fans of the band will leap for joy as it resembles some of the “Messengers” era that fans hold so close. On top of that, it also possesses their trademarked technicality and finesse that guitarist JB Brubaker has become so well known for.
You can listen to the brand new single by August Burns Red below:
The band took to Facebook and posted this below promoting their new record:
NEW ALBUM | PHANTOM ANTHEM | 10.6.17Hear our first single “Invisible Enemy” today at 5pm ET on SiriusXM Liquid Metal.

This would be the follow up to 2015’s “Found In Far Away Places” which was unique in the fact it featured clean singing. This was only one song but the clean singing was done by none other than Jeremy Mckinnon of A Day To Remember which fans ate up. This new record will be August Burns Red’s second album with Fearless Records after being on Solid State Records for most of their career.
The band ended a ten year tour for their 2007 album ‘Messengers’ which was a huge success and have announced dates across Europe. This tour is also to celebrate ten years of ‘Messengers’ as well and believe me, if you’re one of our readers out there, DO NOT MISS THIS!
