Fans braved the cold in Charlotte North Carolina at a brisk 19 degrees on Sunday, January 21st for none other than the MIGHTY TOOL. Tool returned to the Queen City for the first time since 2016, giving fans a massive 2 hour set, full of fan favorites and a visual masterpiece.

Kicking things off for the evening was none other than the four-piece rock outfit Elder. These guys set the mood quickly playing a short but energetic set. Kicking things off with Sanctuary off their 2017 release “Reflections of a Floating World”.

Tool took to the stage shortly after Elder wrapped things up. The lights went down and the familiar sounds of the chimes and swells of the band’s title track from Fear Inoculum filled the arena. The fans cheered as the lights came up on band members one by one. First, drummer Danny Carey, then bassist Justin Chancellor, followed by guitarist Adam Jones. Finally, the lights come up on the back right riser, and it’s none other than vocalist Maynard James Keenan. TOOL played an 11-song set spanning across Undertow, Lateralus, 10,000 Days, and their latest Fear Inoculum. Be sure to catch on the rest of their Fear Inoculum Tour at the dates below.
