New Music: Lido Beach Release New Single

Today we get a comeback single of sorts from Pop-Punk band Lido Beach. The band is getting back to being active again and give us this infectious summer-vibey track called “You Fell Hard”. Lido Beach despite being a band name, is, in fact, Scott Waldman, who also hosts the idobi radio show ‘Waldman’s Words’ and currently manages a handful of bands himself. We got to pick his brain a bit about this new single and about Lido Beach.

Scott Waldman also said this of the team behind the song as well:

Curtis Douglas is the best vocal producer in the world and Kelli Serden Waldman is the best human in the world. This is my first happy song ever. I am so fucking happy with it. I hope that it makes you so fucking happy too”

SLM: What got Lido Beach back together?
LB: – Lido has always been essentially me with friends helping out. This song was me, Curtis Douglas, and Austin Reinholz. GREAT DUDES.
SLM: Was it like riding a bike making new stuff again or was there some rust built up?
LB: – Both?
SLM: This song is a fun song to listen to, but we all know the most fun songs can have deeper meanings, is there one here and if so what’s the story?
LB: – I like to leave lyrics up to one to interpret BUT this song is about a happy 37-year-old married man.
SLM: What are the future plans for the band at the moment?
LB: -I have an acoustic show on August 26 in NorCal the day before my second wedding anniversary. More shows/songs soon. Muhaha.
SLM: Does being a manager mean that this is an automatic ticket to rule the world with Lido Beach?
LB: – Goodness no. It’s actually the opposite. BUT BRING IT ON, WORLD.
