Has TOOL Finally Joined The Music Streaming World?

It seems TOOL has officially decided it was time to join the streaming world. Being one of the few artists that were still not on such platforms at Spotify and Apple Music an artist profile for the band has now been created on both platforms. Though no music has been added to the profiles, there is however a group photo has been added.

Tool fans have been patiently waiting for a new album since the release of their latest album 10,000 Days, which was released on this day in 2006. There have been rumors that the band has finished the new album, but there are also rumors that they’re still working on it. The latest comes from Metallica Guitarist Kirk Hammett who has stated.

I talk to [Tool guitarist] Adam Jones quite a bit, and the last thing I knew, he was dealing with artwork. So that is a good sign. If they’re dealing with artwork, it must be close.”

With Tool headlining several Spring festivals and on tour most of May, it would make sense that Tool would be releasing something soon. If that’s not enough check out the video below of Guitarist Adam Jones playing what many think is a new guitar riff.
