Tantric rocks The Blind Tiger in NC

If you had told me when I was 18 years old that one day I’d be shooting for the post-grunge rock band Tantric, I never would’ve believed you. I was a big fan back then, so it was pretty surreal to get to cover their recent show on 5/28/2021 at the Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC. Only the founding member and vocalist Hugo Ferreira remains out of the original lineup of the early 2000’s rock band, but they performed together as if they’d had this lineup all along. Their on-stage chemistry together was undeniable. They performed a perfect blend of their newer music and their old chart-topping hits from 10+ years ago, including an acoustic set of “Mourning”. They performed a very energetic set, proving that they’re not giving up any time soon.
