YOU READ THAT RIGHT! We chatted in an interview with Jeff Helberg who played guitar for the Tragic Hero Records band Confide. The band never got to scene stardom, but they have a massive cult following that remains dedicated to this day. Listen below about the new band along with a very thorough talk of Confide’s history.

The band released three full lengths and one EP in their catalog which showed stylings from deathcore to pop infused metalcore. Frontman Ross Kenyon was an import from the UK who’s voice became iconic within the band, giving it a sound and style not found elsewhere. Adding Joel Piper on drums/cleans brought in the catchy vibes and hooks we hear on their last two records. The band called it quits back in 2010 in which they then remerged in 2013 doing a kickstarter album which got fully funded and showed a string of shows but nothing has happened since then. Now, Jeff Helberg reveals to us that he and members of Oh Sleeper, Attack Attack!, At The Skylines, and In Fear & Faith have all formed a supergroup. A new band which debuts this Friday, which we have an exclusive early clip in the podcast interview.

We all miss Confide and if you haven’t heard of them go stream their music on Spotify or Apple Music. We also cannot wait to see what is to come from this MASSIVE new band that is sure to take off.
