Adelita’s Way’s “Can’t Stop Us” Tour Takes Over Charlotte

Amos’ Southend in Charlotte, NC was packed as the first band, Falling Into April, took the stage. The sole female performer of the night was the enchanting vocalist and front-woman Mikaela Salazar.

Scars Remain played next, as frontman Travis Keziah screamed his heart out for us. They put on a highly energetic performance including their latest single, Wish I Was.

The highlight of my night personally was the electric performance by Seven Year Witch. I was unfamiliar with the band previously but they instantly got at least one new fan tonight. Their performance was exactly why I got into music photography — there’s nothing I love more than capturing energetic artists in their element, full of raw energy and passion.

Closing out the night, Adelita’s Way took the stage. Frontman Rick DeJesus explained that they have been around for over a decade, put out 7 albums, played over a thousand shows, but they’re still hungry. They then launched ferociously into their track “Still Hungry”. And of course, the night could not be complete without their single that skyrocketed them to fame, “Invincible”.
