Metalcore Rockers Trivium Release New Single "In The Court of The Dragon"

Metalcore band Trivium has put out a new single called “In The Court of the Dragon”. The song starts off with lead vocalist Matt Heafy ragefully screaming out the chorus as the other instruments lead into the song. With the abruptness of the intro, one has to wonder where it will fit in on their upcoming album. In typical Trivium fashion, they take us on an epic five-minute journey with their unmistakable sound. The rapid guitar riffs are almost inhuman. “The title of the song came from a short story by Robert W. Chambers. The story is filled with dread and uncertainty, and that felt fitting for the times we’ve all been living in for the last year. Rather than a direct re-telling, we decided to go a different route and build our own narrative around the music that we were creating.” as bassist Paolo Gregoletto explained recently. The song has been very well-received on their subreddit, as the number of streams quickly begin to rise.
