Greenville South Carolina Punk rock outfit The Indoor Kids have released a new single, Watchful Eye. Watchful Eye was recorded at Studio 101 in Greenville SC, by Logan  Belcher and was Mixed and Mastered by Nathan Hussey of All Get Out.  Vocalist/Guitarist Matt Fessler had this to say about the new track,

“Watchful Eye is a nod of respect to whistleblowers everywhere. Those who are willing to risk their lives and livelihood for the sake of exposing atrocities carried out by the people in power who purport to be keeping us safe, for the sake of “National Security”. Specifically, the revelations by Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Wendell Potter and the others who have done so, are in my mind heroes in their own right. Their convictions of watching what actually happens outside of the public eye drives them to show the world what’s really being carried out and not what’s sugar-coated through sound bites in the media. The true terrorists aren’t necessarily who we are taught to believe, but the can be the elected wolves who hide in America’s clothing. “ – Matt Fessler (guitar/vocals)

You can catch The Indoor Kids live this weekend playing alongside Punk Rock veterans The Ataris and The Queers in Asheville North Carolina at The Grey Eagle.
