Guest Features You May Forgot Or May Not Know About

It’s pretty common for bands or artists to collaborate on a song. Most of the time, these end up in tours with those bands in which these guest features are done in a live setting. Usually, the guest features are set in place to get a bigger name to come and help out a smaller act by having their name on the track. This has lost its sentiment because anyone now can drop some money to have Garrett Rapp of The Color Morale or Ryan Kirby of Fit For A King to do a bit on their unsigned band’s track. The band and guest are not ‘boys’ as some of the posts make them out to be.

However, the really awesome ones are bands having a friend hop on and lend their voice for their song. Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose has become 2017’s go to guy for this already racking up Gideon, Stray From The Path, among some others under his belt. Throughout the years we have seen some awesome features while some may have happened and you just didn’t know about them. Here is a list of some of those.

1. Hayley Williams (Paramore) + The Chariot

2. Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy) + Transit

3. Aaron Gillespie (Underoath) + We Came As Romans

4. Jeffree Star/Austin Carlie (Of Mice & Men) + Breathe Carolina

5. Aaron Marsh (Copeland) + Underoath

6. JB Brubaker (August Burns Red) + Emery

(minute marker 3:21 till end; guitar solo)

7. Sam Carter (Architects) + Bring Me The Horizon

8. Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon) + You Me At Six
