If anyone is familiar with the EDM act Breathe Carolina today, they may only know them to be just that. Another dance act putting out music for clubs across the country. However, for those of us who have been following them for ten plus years, this is not how we remember them to be during most of their career.

Back in April, they pinned this tweet:

BREATHE CAROLINA
@BreatheCarolina

Album?
David singing the entire thing?
Yes? No?

Then just this last week they replied to the tweet with some more news, hinting that everyone who has come to love the band in every facet of their career will be pleased:

BREATHE CAROLINA
@BreatheCarolina

You guys aren’t ready we are coming gunz blazing old fans new fans people who love ya people who hate us . We have something for everyone on this album

The last full length the band released was Savages which featured one song with Asking Alexandria frontman Danny Worsnop which was also the last heavy moment we heard from the band.

Breathe Carolina attained mainstream success in 2011 with the hit single ‘Blackout‘ on Hell Is What You Make It which was the last effort to feature backup singer and screamer Kyle Even.

For those of us who are well into our late 20s and early 30s who grew up with this band, would you be excited to hear a record from their older days or are you past that style of music? Let us know what you think!
