In this feature we have dubbed #SingleAF, we will highlight some amazing new singles that have been released recently by some rad bands. Some you may have known before, some may be new additions to your playlist. However, they are all phenomenal and deserve your attention. Which new single is your favorite?

Awaken I Am
“Dissolution”
Victory Records

Austrailia’s Awaken I Am dropped an amazing debut last year called ‘Blind Love’ and while we fell in love with it, soon their frontman made an exit from the band. Enter Jimmy Alexander who showcases his amazing skills behind the mic as well in the new single ‘Dissolution’. Check it out below:

Lifelong (ex Confide)
“Revive The Masses”

This band features vocalist Ross Kenyon, drummer Joel Piper, and guitarist Trevor Vickers. The style of the song has hints of their former selves sprinkled in yet with a refreshing twist that’s new for them. We are beyond stoked this is a thing and cannot wait to see where Lifelong goes! Filth
“Mirrors”

The first single from the North Carolina band since their 2016 debut full length ‘God Has A Plan’ was released. This new single finds Filth continuing their brand of eerie and haunting deathcore while expanding on their sound with various vocal techniques and guitarist David Gantt’s love affair with different layers and textures under the darkness of the music. Check it out below:

VRSTY
“Neon”
We Are Triumphant

The RnB/Post Hardcore fusion group from the big apple have been dropping some heat this year. VRSTY (formerly Varsity) have released their new single ‘Neon’ via We Are Triumphant, a label they have rejoined after a previous stint. This single does not disappoint as it feels as if Justin Timberlake is fronting a heavy band. I’m seriously waiting for a ‘ByeBye’ cover by this band…till then, we have the song below:

Convictions
“Voices”
Invogue Records

Invogue’s Convictions finally announced a new record and released a new single to follow up “I Will Become”. This single dabbles more in their influences as well as their sound many fans have come to know and love from the band. The lyrics are honest and the new music from the Convictions boys was well worth the wait. Check it out below!
