Citizen show off artistic vision with new music video

Citizen have really made themselves known as a band who puts a lot of thought not only into their music but videos as well. This time it’s a new music video for the 2nd single In The Middle Of It All off their upcoming full length titled “As You Please”. While their last release “Everybody Is Going To Heaven” was a bit different from their debut “Youth”, this new release appears to go back to their roots. They’ve elaborated on this original sound and matured it a bit, even with a choir singing during parts throughout.

The video itself is very in depth, and honestly goes right over my head with whatever message they were attempting to convey. Perhaps it’s some sort of representation for how we blindly go through life doing things, or how we idolize many situations and people. Whether those are in fact true or not is up to the listener, because anyone can come up with their own interpretation. Check out the video down below, and be sure to watch out for anymore singles from the band before they release the album on October 6th.

They are also going on a tour shortly after the album is released, you can find all the dates for that down below!
