We love checking out new acts all the time but it’s rare some stick with you and become a regular in your rotation or playlist. Sometimes you find some and you just have to let your secret out and tell others to go support them as well. So here we go with a list of some newer bands we LOVE that we know you will too!

1. Osatia
FFO: Sleeping With Sirens/Picturesque/Secrets

Osatia hails from the pacific northwest in Seattle, Washington. The band is a fresh face of talent that has recently has caught some attention after their new single ‘We Care’ and their cover of ‘Sober’ originally by Bazzi. They have the vibe and sound that became so prevalent in the late 00s and has seemed to go away somewhat in terms of Post-Hardcore, but we welcome this with open arms and ‘We Care’ has been on repeat.

2. Empty
FFO: Norma Jean/Underoath/Silent Planet

The South Carolina natives Empty have been making a name for themselves along the east coast this year with the release of their current EP ‘The Healing Process’ and their intense live performances. Their sound and presence has been enough to and them a slot on an upcoming tour with Solid State Records band To Speak Of Wolves. Empty is no stranger to the Solid State roster as they have had runs with Death Therapy this year as well. Despite releasing an EP, the band also recently released a new video which you can see below. Listen and see why they need to be on your radar.

3. Vile Ones
FFO: Every Time I Die/The Chariot/Oh Sleeper

No automatic alt text available.

Well this one is interesting because this is a random discovery on Spotify and here I was typing FFO Oh, Sleeper up there just finding out this is a side project of Micah Kinard, frontman for Oh, Sleeper. So yeah this is Vile Ones. Musically, you can hear Kinard’s signature vocal style but the music is more chaotic than what you would find in his other band. If you’re into headbanging, some technicality in your music, and something to punch your friends to, this is it. Unfortunately they do not have any videos out so feel free to check out the stream video below!

4. Dream State
FFO: PVRIS/Too Close To Touch/Slaves

Dream State is a band that has been our radar for a couple of months now. They hail from the UK and I’m ready to welcome them to the USA with open arms. Frontwoman CJ Gilpin boasts a powerful voice that can switch between singing and intense screams. She has a very versatile voice that brings the music from the band to life. Their new EP ‘Recovery’ certainly one of our favorites of the year, go listen to it and I can bet it will be one our yours also.
