Jimmy Lamar Sorrells

I’m proud to call South Carolina home. I’ve been married to my best friend since 2003, and together we have four amazing kids. My love for music began with Metallica’s Black Album and then found bands like Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, P.O.D., Project 86, and Living Sacrifice. While attending North Greenville College, I became the South Carolina chapter leader for Rock For Life, booking shows, working with bands, and traveling to concerts and festivals. Years later, that passion led to the creation of Christian Metal Group, where I’ve had the opportunity to connect with and interview artists from around the world. I also write reviews, interviews, and features for SoundLink Magazine, Heaven’s Metal Magazine, and New Release Today. Outside of writing, I’m an entrepreneur, lifelong music collector, and concert addict.
