INTERVIEW: Nile’s Brad Parris + Fractured Frames Artist Spotlight

Stopping through their native city of Greenville, SC on tour with Soulfly, we got to chat with our longtime friend Brad Parris, bassist for the world famous death metal band Nile. Though we have known him personally for years, this was the first time we sat down on camera to discuss how he joined such a legendary band, the relationship between the younger members and older, and new music coming soon.

Going from taking guitar lessons with Nile founder Karl Sanders to joining his favorite band, that can be a life-changing moment for anyone. This is the first time Brad spoke on the record about the journey into being a member and key player in a band he once revered and looked up to. The metalcore act has only been a band for over a year but their reputation and weight behind their name has given them much respect in the Carolinas as well as being a high demand opening act for major shows, such as Nile.
