Chris Fronzak, aka Fronz, frontman of Attila, announced for the first time in an interview with Soundink Magazine that the band’s first record since 2021 will be released on October 31st. “Concrete Throne” is the name of the album and will span every era of Attila’s playing, by “no rules,” as he says in the interview.
Attila has been known to be a wild bunch of guys, but when it comes to the new record, the “About That Life” singer says that these lyrics had more thought put into them than in the past when he was younger and just writing the craziest stuff he could think of.
“We put a lot of thought and love into the lyrics, so it’s not just throwing random words that’ll make people mad,” Fronz said. “We thought of the themes of these songs. Lyrically, this album is the best lyrical album for Attila.”
He added that while the band’s reputation may still make people mad because they’re Attila, he expects listeners to connect more deeply with the new songs, more so than with their previous records.
“There will be shit that will offend people just because it’s Attila,” Fronz said. “But overall, I think people will resonate more with this album because we put a lot more thought and love into the lyrics.”
For those wanting to see the band on the road in 2026, he revealed that Attila will be performing at Danny Wimmer-branded festivals, and the year as a whole will be “an explosive year for Attila.”
