As an old punk rock kid, I LOVE the DIY scene and the bands that are part of it. Bands that are out there making a name for themselves on their terms, and no one else’s. That, to me, is Silly Goose in a nutshell. From their parking lot shows to earning their spot on DWP festivals. Silly Goose kicked off their “Set It Off” Tour and brought their high energy to Poe Mill Music in Greenville, SC, on Wednesday, September 16th, and boy, was it a party. My favorite part of the night was the crowd surfers. Poe Mill is a smaller venue, so the crowd is tightly packed in, which makes for great stage dives and crowd surfing. There’s just something special about watching a band feed off the energy the crowd is giving them and giving it right back to them.
