Attila has canceled their highly anticipated 2025 European tour, citing issues concerning their “mental but individual health.” The band shared a statement on their social media, expressing regret and explaining that the decision came after “boundaries were crossed once again” just hours before their first show.
The full statement from the band is as follows:
“WE’D LIKE TO SINCERELY APOLOGIZE TO OUR FANS FIRST AND FOREMOST. WE NEVER INTENDED ON CANCELLING OUR 2025 EUROPEAN RUN BUT OVER THE PAST COUPLE YEARS ATTILA AND ITS CREW HAVE BEEN PUT IN SITUATIONS THAT ARE VOLATILE TO NOT ONLY OUR MENTAL BUT INDIVIDUAL HEALTH. IN RETURN THESE SCENARIOS HAVE LED US TO SET BOUNDARIES AS HUMAN BEINGS AS WELL AS A FUNCTIONING BUSINESS.
WE FLEW THE ENTIRE BAND AND CREW ALL THE WAY TO EUROPE ONLY TO FIND OUT LESS THAN TWENTY FOUR HOURS BEFORE OUR FIRST SHOW THESE BOUNDARIES WERE CROSSED ONCE AGAIN.
WE ARE NOT HERE TO SPEAK NEGATIVELY ABOUT ANY INDIVIDUAL OR COMPANY. HOWEVER, WE HAVE TO STAND UP FOR OURSELVES AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HARD TO MAKE ATTILA RUN SMOOTHLY.
MOVING FORWARD WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THE NECESSARY MEASURES TO MAKE SURE NOTHING LIKE THIS EVER HAPPENS AGAIN. WE CAN ONLY HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND AND RESPECT OUR DECISION.”
The band concluded their post by promising to take measures to ensure a similar situation does not happen again. The cancellation comes as a shock to fans who were looking forward to the tour.
