The countdown to one of America’s premier rock and metal festivals has officially begun. Sonic Temple Festival 2026 has unveiled its first round of bands, and it’s already shaping up to be a massive weekend for heavy music fans.

Leading the charge are Stone Temple Pilots, the iconic rockers who helped define the sound of the ’90s with their grunge-driven anthems and timeless catalog. Joining them is none other than Black Label Society, led by the legendary Zakk Wylde, bringing crushing riffs and unstoppable stage presence.

Adding even more firepower to the lineup, Sevendust are set to return to the festival stage, continuing their decades-long reign as one of hard rock’s most consistently powerful live acts. Fans can also look forward to explosive sets from P.O.D., who blend rap, reggae, and nu-metal into high-energy performances, and Saliva, the chart-topping hard rockers behind early 2000s hits like “Click Click Boom.”

Rounding out this first wave announcement is Soil, known for their raw, groove-driven metal and breakout hit “Halo.”

With just this initial lineup drop, Sonic Temple 2026 is already promising an unforgettable experience, and this is only the beginning. Fans can expect more announcements in the coming months as additional headliners and acts are revealed.

The festival will once again take place in Columbus, Ohio, bringing together tens of thousands of fans from across the country for four days of music, community, and rock-and-roll energy.

Tickets and festival passes will be available soon at SonicTempleFestival.com. With a lineup like this already on deck, fans are encouraged to secure their spot early.
