On September 11, 2025, Pantera brought their highly anticipated tour to Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh, N.C., delivering a night of pure metal energy. The show featured strong openers with King Parrot from Australia and Amon Amarth from Sweden.

King Parrot kicked off the night with their chaotic, high-energy thrash-grind style. Their short but intense set got the crowd moving early and set the tone for the evening.

Amon Amarth followed with a polished, powerful set that felt like a Viking battle cry. Songs like Guardians of Asgaard and Twilight of the Thunder God had the entire amphitheater headbanging in unison, and their commanding stage presence gave the night an epic feel before Pantera even came out.

When the lights dimmed, a video tribute to Pantera’s history played while Suicide Note, Pt. I filled the venue. The montage honored Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, and the crowd responded with cheers and raised horns.

The show peaked with Cowboys From Hell and Walk, two of Pantera’s most iconic songs, which had the entire crowd on their feet.

This concert was more than just a nostalgic trip to me. It showed that Pantera’s music still hits hard and brings people together. Raleigh got a night of metal that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
