This past weekend, the Princess of Darkness, Ozzy Osborne, officially retired from music. Back to the Beginning was held in Birmingham, England, at Villa Park, the home of the Premier League’s Aston Villa. However, even though this was a time for Ozzy to give fans one last performance and for fans to give him the send-off he deserves, Ozzy knew this was bigger than just Him. It was announced that all proceeds from the event would be going to 3 different Charities. Those charities are Acorns Children’s Hospice, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Cure Parkinson’s. Well, according to the musical director, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, the event raised 190 million.
