Sleeping with Sirens rock out in Baltimore

If you’re missing Warped Tour a little bit in the DMV area, chances are you found yourself out and about this past weekend with the End The Madness Tour. A lineup full of this past summer’s Main Stage artist’s, headlined by Sleeping With Sirens hit Baltimore Soundstage complete with State Champs, Tonight Alive and Waterparks.

Waterparks kicked off the show, complete with vocalist Awsten Knight bringing a human sized stuffed dog onto the stage, a sight which I haven’t seen before. While a lot of people have good things to say about them, the dog peaked my interest and I wasn’t too impressed with their set. Tonight Alive followed, while their set was short, I was happy they played mostly older material, as that’s my favorite. Listening is one of my favorite older tracks of theirs, and seems to be the lone song they perform off of “What Are You So Scared Of?” these days. State Champs set the bar for Sleeping With Sirens, firing off 11 songs, most of which are off their most recent album “Around the World and Back”. Very pleased to see my favorite song “All or Nothing” performed live as well.

This was one of the hottest tours of the fall, attested by the pyro cannons that fired off to the opening lines of “Do It Now Remember It Later” and throughout the remainder of the set. Pyrotechnics are rarely seen in the club show scene, so kudos to the production team for finding a way to incorporate one of my favorite aspects of a live show into the scheme of things. Sleeping With Sirens delivered a 16 song set list that lasted over an hour, much to the delight of a sold out crowd.
