Slaves Release Alternate Video of “I’d Rather See Your Star Explode”

It’s always cool seeing something you’ve worked hard on succeed. Especially when you’re in a band like the guys in Slaves. Their single I’d Rather See Your Star Explode has surpassed one million views on YouTube and while most bands would write a thank you post via social network these guys released an alternate version of their music video. Check it out below!

Something unique about this release is that they made the video only available through their Facebook page instead of posting alongside the original. So what makes this version so special? Well this version is a one take version meaning it’s all continuous filming. This edit of the video shows some bloopers at the beginning and end of the video while also giving an idea of how much editing actually goes into a video. That’s not taking away from the video at all. The main focus of the video is the interrogation of Jonny, so this one take could actually work. What did you guys think of this version of the video? Are one takes a thing that should be more common or do you prefer edited videos?

Slaves has an album coming some time in 2017 entitled Beautiful Death. This album is being recorded by Erik Ron who has done work for Set It Off and Panic! At the Disco.

Pick up the single for only $.69!!
