Welcome to the New Year! For my first show of the year, I was able to cover a great lineup to start 2026. The Carnal Nature World Tour stopped in Charlotte, NC, at The Fillmore on January 17th for one of its 50+ stops.
Archers
Wisconsin-based Archers took the stage with some very welcomed energy as frontman Nathanael told everyone to move! The band started out with “Made For Love,” which happens to be their current most popular song. The energy throughout the set stayed high as the band sang some very melodic tracks, making me want to check them out

Catch Your Breath
Catch Your Breath is also a band that I am not familiar with. Their stage production seemed very top-notch and I am surprised I haven’t come across them on my radar due to their catchiness such as in “Savages” and “Deadly”. Between each song, the band had a customized intro, and I thought that was a nice touch in production. I will be sure to check out their current discography as their performance took me by surprise.

Nothing More
After the long wait, Nothing More took the stage with “House On Sand” from their current album Carnal. Frontman Jonny Hawkins came out shirtless as usual with paint on one side, and this time he switched up the color to black/white as opposed to red from the last time I caught them on tour. This probably is to match the black and gold theme of the Carnal artwork. Nothing More always puts on such a great show with Jonny’s energy, accompanied by guitarists Mark and Daniel’s awesome stage presence. I already can’t wait to see them live again next time they are in town.
