    About Soundlink Magazine

Soundlink Magazine began in 2013 as an outlet for the founder, Joshua Lowe, to photograph the artists he was passionate about what he couldn’t shoot for the local newspaper. The name was Southeast Pit Report which garnered a small local following in the North and South Carolinas via photo galleries online. Lowe then added former Virginian now Floridian Trevor Williams and Maryland native Terry Dobbins to his line up of photographers. News articles from around the scene were also a staple on the website. The site and brand took a turn into more than photography and articles in late 2014 when Trenton Worsham was added to help with interviews that the site began to do with the first being the Greenville, SC band Islander doing a hometown show after signing to Victory Records. From there, the shows got bigger as well as the audience in which 2015, 2016 and 2017 Vans Warped Tour were all covered. In 2017 after much growth and reach, the named was no longer fitting, restricting the publication by its name geography. 2017 saw the rebranding and launch of Soundlink Magazine as well as their highest numbers to date as well as covering the 2017 Carolina Rebellion for the first time. The roster of writers also grew to add Ben Schlotthauer (formerly of Wolf & Bear), Charley Gentry, AJ Prisciandaro, and Nico Pellowski. 2018 will see even more change in the content produced and services the site offers.
