Intervention release music video for “Too Much TV”

Had these guys not come to my town I don’t think I’d have heard of them, which would have admittedly been a huge bummer. Intervention is a 5-piece alternative/emo group based out of the sunshine state of Florida. In July of this 2017 they released the 2-song EP titled Too Much TV which contains the song in question and another song titled Blur. Both songs contain elements of bands like Balance & Composure, Nothing, and Household.

The band’s history spans back to as early as May of 2014 with their first EP titled “I’m No Good.” Since that time the band has only been more and more active, pushing at least one release every year. While their material is all consistent, I have to give props to them as a band for staying consistent as songwriters while also improving their production quality. Many try to attempt this, yet usually fall victim to appeasing their listeners rather than making music for themselves.

My first interaction with the band was roughly 3 weeks ago; I saw them live at a local show here in Chico, CA. Afterwards, the band needed a place to crash for the night so I offered up my small 2 bedroom place. During that instance, I listened to the bands material and really started loving it. It’s both catchy and artistically sound, which is something that is becoming harder to find these days in the scene.

Since meeting them I encounter some issues with my account so the tour they’re currently on(picture of said tour is down below) is only going for another week. Nonetheless, I highly suggest checking these guys if they’re passing through your town.
