Breaking Benjamin Album Review Dark Before Dawn Artist: Breaking Benjamin
Album: Dark Before Dawn
Released: 06/23/15

Benjamin Burley is back, Breaking Benjamin is back! It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from them, 2009 was the release of their last album, ‘Dear Agony’. All the disputes are settled and Burley is back with all new band mates and this new album sounds great!
They start and end the album with quiet instrumentals to ease you into and out of the flow of the album. Then comes a couple singles they released, “Failure” and “Angels Fall”, and it picks up right where the band left off years ago. Then there is “Breaking the Silence” and “Bury Me Alive”, a couple heavier songs that shows the new diversity of the group. Towards the end of the album they slow the tempo some with “Ashes of Eden”, which has a slow pace, soft vocals, intimate strings, and melodic riffs.
This album is everything you would expect from Breaking Benjamin and then some. It has every element we’ve grown to love as fans and then has new sides to their feel, and it’s really awesome! If you are a fan, which I’m sure most people are, you absolutely need to check out this album, it’s awesome!
