Since 2002, Anberlin has given us 7 albums and toured the world. This year, Anberlin gives us Lowborn, their 8th and finale album. Anberlin announced earlier this year their breakup, the finale album, and their finale world tour.

Lowborn was released July 22, 2014, having previously leaked a few songs to tease their fans of the new record. With all the excitement and sadness of a finale album, Anberlin did not disappoint their fans.

Lowborn touches on the topics of faith, insecurities, dreams, a thank you, and one song even has explanation of why vocalist, Stephen, is personally calling it quits. As with all their albums, these songs come with heartfelt meaning, and have touched fans lives, already.

Musically, the band shows the last of their progression as Anberlin, but even has vibes of their earlier songs. Many fans are glad to hear parts of “the old Anberlin”, but even as a long time fan, I find it refreshing hearing their advancement in their music rifts, as well as the hints of the past. It was all a nice touch to the finale chapter of my personal favorite band, Anberlin.

Be sure to check out Anberlin on their finale world tour, now!
