Southeast Pit Report Album Review for Adelitas Way Artist: Adelitas Way
Album: Deserve This (EP)
Released: 3-11-15
By: Jason Gillis

Adelita’s Way got their start in the late 2000’s out of Vegas after signing with Victory Records. They really caught a break, gaining lots of recognition when their song “Invincible” became a theme song for numerous wrestling organizations and even a season finale episode of CSI: Miami. Since then they’ve been delivering great hard rock music that fans can connect to, and that rings true going into their new EP “Deserve This”.
They start off the album with the title track and first single “Deserve This”, which really showcases the classic hard rock feel that fans know. The next song on the EP is actually the next single from the record, “I Get Around”, which is an upbeat, almost playful song. They close the EP with “Sometimes You’re Meant to Get Used”, again delivering all you’d expect from the band. The entire album has rhythm, feelings, and a vibe that really catches the listener.
If this new EP is a teaser for what is expected in the new upcoming album than I can honestly say I am quite excited for it. In their career they’ve gained recognition and toured with more well known bands, they’ve had their due success, and with this release and their plans for the future it is clear that they are not nearly finished giving the fans what they want.
