The Used & Glassjaw // Silver Spring, MD

With Winter rapidly approaching, the winter jackets were plentiful in the long line of fans waiting outside The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland, which played host to The Used and Glassjaw this past Tuesday night.

Glassjaw opened up the show, who are widely speculated to be releasing their first full-length album in fifteen years (yes, you read that correctly). The album is supposedly called “Material Control” and may or may not be released on December 1st. Stay tuned for that, and while you’re waiting here’s a few photo from their set!

The Used closed out the night with the most colorful production I’ve seen this entire year. Vocalist Bert McCracken took the stage infront of a banner with the Canyon album logo on it, and shadows of fellow band members behind said banner. With the flick of a button, the banner came down to reveal Jeph, Dan and Justin break into “Take It Away”. Fans were stoked to be given the chance to see some new material be performed, which included “Rise Up Lights”, “Over and Over Again”, “About You (No Songs Left to Sing)”, and “Selfies in Aleppo.

The Used just released a brand new album entitled “The Canyon”, their 7th Studio Album, on October 27th, which you can purchase at all digital outlets below, and be sure to catch one or more of the remaining tour dates below! (Click to Open)
